Squamish River Rafting

,

For our next day we decided to keep adrenaline levels high: River rafting!

We left in the morning as a small group of just 8 people! After 1 hour of driving, we launch our boat into the Eliaho river and began paddling! As it was a class 3-4 rafting tour, there were enough waves and splashes to get really wet. Fortunately, the weather was really nice and warm allowing for an additional jump into the cold river along a calmer section.

In the evening we had some time left to visit Shannon Falls and the Sea to Sky Gondola along the way south.

Towards the end of this really long day we ended up in Horseshoe Bay, where we drove onto the ferry at 10 pm to ship over to Vancouver Island! What a day!
